If you have a daughter it is likely that if some point you’re going to have to foot the bill for her wedding. Reception, wedding dress, bridesmaids dresses, and so much more. The bottom line is at all cost a lot of money. We live in Florida and my daughter graduated from the University of Florida this past spring. During her four years in college she met the man of her dreams and wants to get married this fall in Gainesville. You would think that in a little town as small as Gainesville that the cost of the wedding wouldn’t be that bad. The fact is most expenses are about the same as they would be in a big city. We did find a Gainesville wedding photographer could do the photography rather inexpensively. As for the wedding dress, the reception hall, the rehearsal dinner, the bridesmaids dresses, well let’s just say we weren’t quite so fortunate.

In an effort to update our outdated house we decided to invest and I mean that literally invest in new windows. To say the least we were stunned at vinyl replacement windows cost. I think everyone starts window shopping at home improvement warehouses. that’s all well and good but the price of a quality window really is not consistent with what you see in the stores. We had three estimates for window replacements in our home. We do not have a large home, a modest home of 1800 ft. The lowest estimate that we received was $14,000.I immediately thought of my goodness I’m not buying a car, I’m buying Windows. Apparently I had been misinformed about vinyl replacement windows cost. Lesson learned

It seems the entire country is up in arms about the health care reform program. I think the United States needs healthcare reform. I am just not sure that letting the government run it is a good idea. I really don’t know if I’m in the minority or the majority on that opinion. I do know the government has never proven to me that they can’t run anything on a large scale. Ultimately I believe government run healthcare takes away from our freedom. However, like I said something needs to be done. What that is I’m not sure but I know this. I don’t have health insurance at this point in time. Apparently I’m like 50 million other people in this country,but I would rather do without health insurance, then have the government decide which doctors I can go to, which hospitals I can go to, and ultimately decide whether or not I get treatment.
